BL Harbert international strives to build safety into every activity, every day, everywhere. However, safety on a construction site goes far beyond compliance. Safety is about coming together to protect one another and making sure we all arrive home safely every night. We have long stated that our goal on every job site is to develop a culture where we look out for one another. A culture where we ensure the person working next to us makes safe choices.
While safety is the cornerstone of our business, this week we are observing and raising awareness for National Safety Week across our offices and job sites in the U.S. and around the world. Companies across the U.S. have declared this week, May 7-11 as Safety Week. Join us as we team up with industry leaders campaigning around the theme of, ‘The Power of Safe Choices.’
Thousands of workers in our company and community work on billions of dollars of construction projects. These men and women are reshaping the communities, where we live, work and play – building embassies, bridges, hospitals, residential areas and manufacturing facilities.
Safety Week is a chance to remind everyone of our shared commitment to safety. We are proud to note that this effort has spread to include more than 8,000 BL Harbert employees, joining the thousands of workers who participate in Safety Week. We celebrate the choices our workers make each day to remain safe. Together, we can and we will create a safer and stronger industry for ourselves, our colleagues, our families and our friends. Let us renew our commitment to the power of safe choices.
