BL Harbert International, LLC Breaks Ground on Two Huntsville Projects
Birmingham, Ala. — This month BL Harbert International broke ground on two new Huntsville projects: Fleming Farms and 8800 Redstone Gateway.
Fleming Farms, located along Whitesburg Drive, is a new senior housing community developed by Dominion Partners, LLC. It will support the needs of a wide range of seniors from independent living and assisted living to memory care. This facility offers 183 total units that are spacious, open-concept apartment homes with modern appliances, ample storage and high-end fixtures and finishes. Amenities include paved walking paths, a fitness center, therapy room, aerobic pool, clubroom, salon/barbershop, bistro and full-service dining.
8800 Redstone Gateway is a new 76,000-square-feet office development located in Redstone Gateway, a new mixed-use development being built by Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) and Jim Wilson & Associates just north of Redstone Arsenal’s Gate 9. At the groundbreaking ceremony, The Georgia Teach Research Institute announced they would be one of the main tenants in the new building.
“Redstone Arsenal is a powerful economic engine that drives commerce and innovation in the city of Huntsville,” said a spokesperson for COPT, the developer on this project. “Our Redstone Gateway project represents our unequivocal, long-term commitment to Huntsville’s future.”

Both projects are currently under construction and scheduled for completion in 2020.
