As a result of many years of civil war and violence, the city of Brazzaville’s infrastructure was left in complete ruin, making the importation of materials and equipment challenging.
Despite this challenge, BL Harbert constructed four main facilities on the 11-acre compound, including a two-story Chancery Building and Utility Building. Through the perseverance of the BLHI team, the project was completed three months ahead of schedule, and was also the first USGBC LEED Gold rating for the U.S. Department of State’s portfolio.
