B.L. Harbert International is seeking a Loader to work in our International Logistics Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Applicants will be responsible for loading and processing a variety of construction materials. Candidates should have the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Candidates will perform a variety of tasks and will work under general supervision.

Requirements

• US citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the US Government
• Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds
• High school degree
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Industrial/Construction distribution field (experience in electrical, mechanical or general construction supply accepted)
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Industrial/Construction Supply Distribution industry
• ERP Software experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work occasional overtime and shift work as needed
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects
• Ability to work under pressure in meeting deadlines
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication skills
