BL Harbert International, LLC Awarded Construction Contract for New U.S. Consulate Compound in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has awarded a contract to BL Harbert International, LLC to provide design-build services for the new U.S. Consulate General Compound in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.
Located on a 5.6-acre site on the Paseo Colon, the construction award will include a Consulate, a U.S. Marine Security Guard Residence, a support annex, and facilities for the Consulate Community.

The design architect is Moore Ruble Yudell of Santa Monica, California. Page of Washington, D.C. will be the architect of record.
