BL Harbert International to Break Ground on Homewood Public Safety Building
BL Harbert International, in conjunction with the City of Homewood and CMH Architects, is scheduled to host a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Homewood Public Safety Building on June 7 at 10AM. Located on almost 6 acres in West Homewood, the new three-story building will house the police department, Municipal Courts, and Municipal Jail facilities.
BL Harbert International is the construction manager on the 54,000-square-foot facility. Argo Building, Bright Future Electric and Comfort Systems USA were each awarded separate bid packages. Construction is scheduled to be complete in late summer of 2019.
BL Harbert International is also the construction manager for Patriot Park Pool and the Athletic Complex at West Homewood. All three projects will be constructed simultaneously.

BL Harbert International was the construction manager on the Homewood Community Center which opened in 2014 for the residents of Homewood.
The new Homewood Public Safety Building is located at 310 West Valley Avenue. The event is open to the public.
