BL Harbert VP Estimating & Preconstruction, Matt Thompson, named Top 40 Under 40 by Alabama AGC
BL Harbert International Vice President of U.S. Estimating & Preconstruction, Matt Thompson, was named to the Alabama Associated General Contractors (AGC) 2019 “Top 40 Under 40” list, which honors up-and-coming stars within the state’s construction industry who demonstrate an incredibly high level of leadership, professional excellence and commitment to the industry throughout the state of Alabama.
Thompson was selected for his leadership and contributions to the company’s success over the past 16 years, where he served in various leadership positions including estimating and preconstruction services for BLHI’s US Group.
“Matt’s daily actions and interactions demonstrate many of the key attributes – innovation, integrity and professionalism – that are vital to our success,” said Johnny Garlington, President of the U.S. Group of BL Harbert International. “Matt is well-deserving of this recognition, his leadership will continue to advance BL Harbert, as well as the construction industry in Alabama and beyond for years to come.”
Thompson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from Auburn University.
