For about seven Saturdays every fall, approximately 87,451 Auburn Tiger football fans gather to cheer on their favorite team.
The stadium is named for Ralph “Shug” Jordan, Auburn’s all-time winningest football coach, and Clifford Leroy Hare, a member of Auburn’s first football team, president of the former Southern Conference and longtime chairman of Auburn’s Faculty Athletic Committee.
With an average of over 75,000 season tickets sold annually, memories are made in sweltering heat and freezing cold, as fans consistently gather to cheer on the Tigers. Auburn’s gameday experience ranks among the best in the SEC. However, in the fiercely competitive landscape of college football recruiting, Auburn wanted to take its stadium and amenities to the next level.
Auburn’s planned $28 million renovation of Jordan-Hare Stadium included upgrades to the team’s locker room, better amenities for the fans and a new recruiting area designed to attract elite talent.
The Auburn University Facilities Department enlisted BL Harbert International early on to help bring these goals for the stadium to life. Our team hit the ground running in the preconstruction phase to ensure Auburn University’s success for this major undertaking.
The opportunity to manage both the preconstruction and construction phases of the project was especially important to many of our staff who are alumni of the University.
BL Harbert International employs more than one hundred Auburn University graduates. We have families who have a rich history with Auburn, students who spend their summers learning the trades with us and graduates-turned-employees who pack up every weekend to tailgate and cheer on their favorite team. It’s a place that is as special to many of us as it is to our partners on this project.
