Topping Out at General Purpose Maintenance Shop

Our project team at Fort Campbell recently celebrated their topping out and safety efforts thus far on the project. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!

 

The General Purpose Maintenance Shop is BL Harbert International’s 12th project at Fort Campbell. The project includes the construction of vehicle maintenance facilities with open storage areas and 50,000 square yards of organizational vehicle parking.

 

Below is a quick update on current and upcoming work:

 

Allied Services Building:
Wire pulling is near completion. Permanent power is pulled and terminated to electrical equipment. Overhead coiling doors will be installed in the next two weeks followed by conditioned air, ceramic tile, flooring, paint, finishes, and specialties.

 

Engine Automotive Building:
Drywall finishing is wrapping up as well as prime and first coat paint; exterior and coiling overhead doors; main and branch electrical wire pull; and bridge crane installation.

 

Paint Booth Building:
Air barrier application is underway on the exterior walls. Masonry veneer and insulated exterior panels will follow. Interior partition framing is complete. Drywall top out, overhead electrical, and HVAC work are starting. Paint booths will be built upon completion of interior sheathing and finishing.

 

Production Control Building:
The team is currently working on framed steel openings at coiling overhead doors; fireproofing; roof underlayment, insulation, and standing seam metal panels; and exterior wall framing and sheathing.
