Design and construction of the U.S. Embassy Compound in Dakar, Senegal, consists of the following facilities: a Chancery Building, a Marine Security Guard Quarters, a recreational facility, Vehicle Maintenance/Shop Facility and a mail screening facility.

The facility incorporates sustainable design and the embassy has achieved U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold Certification.  Most of the buildings are reinforced concrete structures with ballistics rated walls, glazing, doors and roof decks. Force, chemical and biological protection measures were also incorporated.
