Clay Shoot Benefitting Alabama 4-H Foundation
Last week, BL Harbert hosted the 3rd Annual Clay Shoot at Selwood Farms, benefitting the Alabama 4-H Foundation. Alabama 4-H has been around for over 100 years, helping develop young people from rural and urban areas.
4-H is in every Alabama county. Approximately 161,937 youth are enrolled in their programming.
What does the Alabama 4-H Foundation do? They award thirty-five $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors, provide $50,000 in innovative grants to 4-H clubs statewide, and fund youth travel to regional and national conferences and contests. Over the last three years, BLHI’s clay shoot has raised nearly $100,000, directly impacting the youth of Alabama!
