Position Description

B.L. Harbert International is looking for an Office Engineer to work on International project sites in various locations overseas. Candidate will work closely with the Project Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Engineer with submittal packages including creating, tracking and follow-up and procurement including take-offs, requisitioning and tracking of materials
  • Help with scheduling activities including planning/developing all project phases
  • Produce monthly progress updates
  • Develop weekly forecast schedules
  • Assist with Request for Proposal pricing and writing RFIs
  • Provide correspondence between the field and various design engineers to resolve construction/coordination issues
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • US citizen
  • Willing to relocate overseas to work on projects for 2-4 years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance through the US Government
  • Undergraduate Degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience and training in scheduling and planning construction projects

  • Possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance through the U.S. Government
  • Undergraduate Degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience and training in scheduling and planning construction projects
  • Experience using programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, P6

International Project Engineer Various Locations, Overseas

Position Description

BL Harbert International is looking for a Project Engineer for various locations overseas. Candidate’s ability to understand construction drawings and specifications are vital. Familiarity with codes and standards such as ASTM, ACI, AISC, and CRSI are required for a candidate. Specific experience includes but is not limited to material take-off, submittals, RFI’s, requisitions, quality control, field instructions, and day-to-day problem solving. Applicants would manage personnel including Office Engineers and technicians as well as work directly with Field Superintendents.

Requirements

  • US citizen. Willing to travel abroad on assignments in the vicinity of site for 2-4 years
  • Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a clearance through the US Government
  • Undergraduate Degree in an Engineering related discipline or Construction Management
  • 5+ years’ experience in the management or support of construction projects
