BL Harbert International Awarded its 11th project in Fort Campbell, KY
On December 14, 2015, the Louisville District Corps of Engineers announced the award of the design/build contract for its new SOF Group Special Troops Battalion (GSTB) Facility in Fort Campbell, KY to BL Harbert International.
The 65,000-square-foot facility will include classrooms, conference rooms, team rooms, mission planning areas, and a fitness trail, among other site improvements.
Headquartered at Fort Campbell, the 5th Special Forces Group is one of the most decorated special operations units in the United States Military. BL Harbert International first began work at Fort Campbell in 2003. The new GSTB Facility is the 11th contract award on the base and the 15th project BL Harbert has constructed with the Louisville District Corps of Engineers.

Designed by Page, the $22.7 million facility will begin construction immediately and is slated for completion by the first of 2018. Upon completion, the new GTSB Facility will be seeking LEED Silver certification.
