BL Harbert's Nashville Office Hosts Annual Blood Drive

Last week, our Nashville office sponsored the annual Williamson County Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
The Brentwood Police, Fire & Rescue Departments, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Nolensville Fire and Rescue Departments all participated in the event.
The Brentwood Battle of the Badges started when the Brentwood Assistant Fire Chief, David Windrow was diagnosed with Blood Cancer.  He endured multiple blood transfusions a week, chemo treatments, blood work, IVs, etc. for over a year and a half.  The Brentwood First Responder Community wanted to help in a way that would make a difference to not only their chief but also the community they serve, so the battle was born! Whether you come out to give for the men and women in red or the men and women in blue, these people are all there for one reason, saving lives through the gift of blood.
This year, we collected 104 units of blood which can help over 300 patients. BL Harbert has been the presenting sponsor of this drive for over 10 years, which has collected a total of 3,115 units in that time. Donating blood is one easy and quick way you can give back to your community. Click this link to find an opportunity to donate near you.
