Camp Lejeune Simulator project takes home national ABC award
Each year, the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) recognizes the country’s top construction projects in their annual Excellence in Construction (EIC) awards program. The EIC awards program is the industry’s leading competition that honors both general and specialty contractors for innovative and high-quality merit shop construction projects.
This year, BL Harbert won an ABC Pyramid Award in the ‘Federal Government / Military > $15 to $100 million’ category for its work on Simulator Integration Center and Range Control Operations Facility in Camp Lejeune, NC. The project first won first place at the Alabama-state level before qualifying to be submitted nationally. There, it was selected from entries across the nation and was judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety, and cost.
