VA Gainesville Clinics Receive Two Green Globes
The Green Building Initiative recently awarded our Gainesville Veterans Affairs Mental Health and Outpatient Clinics Two Green Globes for the New Construction category.
This honor is awarded to projects “demonstrating excellent progress in achieving reduction of environmental impacts and use of environmental efficiency practices.” Green Globes is a comprehensive, science-based, three-in-one certification system that evaluates the environmental sustainability, health & wellness, and resilience of all types of commercial real estate.
This 110,781-square-foot campus was completed in October 2022. BLHI is proud of receiving this award and building a facility that provides over 40,000 veterans in the community with primary care, physical therapy, audiology, dental, and much more.
