Wrapping Up Design/Build On Valley Packaging Corporation by late 2016
Valley Packaging Corporation of Pulaski, TN has awarded BL Harbert International a 302,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Valley, a subsidiary of Green Bay Packaging, receives and processes corrugated cardboard stick material for product packaging needs around the country.
The $22.7 million facility consists of approximately 266,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 36,000 square feet of a two-level office and design space.
“We look forward to assisting Valley Packing expand production capabilities. With our headquarters in Birmingham, and with an office in Nashville, this project feels very local to BL Harbert,” stated Industrial Division Manager, Jeremy Pipkin. “An interesting aspect to this project is that the scope includes transporting part of the previous plant’s equipment to the new facility.”
Construction is scheduled to begin immediately, and the facility will be completed at the end of 2016. This project will create approximately 75 new jobs in the area.
