Ribbon Cutting | Homewood Public Safety Building
On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, BL Harbert turned over the keys to the Homewood Police Department on their new 54,000-square-foot facility.
BL Harbert served as Construction Manager for the City of Homewood on this project. The new building consolidates many departments that were previously in different facilities. The new four-story facility includes provisions for the Police Department, Municipal Courts, and Municipal Jail. An E-911 center is included, as well as a storm shelter, sized to accommodate staff and jail population. In addition to space, the facility has ample parking for as many as 180-vehicles.
BL Harbert was proud to have served in such a transformative project for the Homewood community.
